Star Light Dental is inside Hoxton Park Central, the complex on Lyn Parade just off Hoxton Park Road, so for most of Hoxton Park we are only a few minutes away. We are a family clinic with three dentists, looking after everything from routine check-ups and cleans to dentures, cosmetic work and dental emergencies.
We are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 3pm. Same-day emergency appointments are available most days.
Finding Us at Hoxton Park Central
We are at Shop 7, 2 Lyn Parade, Prestons, next to MediPharm Medical Centre. If you know Total Tools or Jaycar, you know the complex. It sits off Hoxton Park Road, opposite Officeworks and McDonald’s and close to the M7.
With the medical centre and the dentist side by side, you can combine appointments in one trip. There is on-site parking at the door, and the clinic has disabled access.

Three Dentists, Led by 34 Years of Experience
- Dr Maher Farag, principal dentist, graduated in 1992 and holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Prosthodontics. He looks after complex restorative work, dentures, crowns and cosmetic cases.
- Dr Liza Mekhael holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University and has a special focus on cosmetic and preventive care, children’s dentistry and oral surgery. She is especially good with anxious patients.
- Dr Miriam Mackeen is a general dentist with a gentle approach who enjoys looking after patients of all ages.
