Austral is changing fast, with new estates going up alongside the acreages and market gardens that have been there for generations. Whether your family has been in the area for fifty years or five months, Star Light Dental is a short drive away, inside Hoxton Park Central on Lyn Parade, Prestons.

We are a family clinic with three dentists, open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 3pm. Same-day emergency appointments are available most days.

Getting Here from Austral

From Austral, take Fifteenth Avenue east to Cowpasture Road, then follow Hoxton Park Road towards Liverpool. Lyn Parade runs off Hoxton Park Road, close to the M7. Look for Hoxton Park Central at 2 Lyn Parade, the complex with Total Tools and Jaycar, opposite Officeworks and McDonald’s. We are next to MediPharm Medical Centre.

There is plenty of on-site parking right at the door, with room for a ute or a van, and the clinic has disabled access.

Three Dentists, Led by 34 Years of Experience

Dr Maher Farag, principal dentist, graduated in 1992 and holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Prosthodontics. He looks after complex restorative work, dentures, crowns and cosmetic cases.
Dr Liza Mekhael holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University and has a special focus on cosmetic and preventive care, children’s dentistry and oral surgery. She is especially good with anxious patients.
Dr Miriam Mackeen is a general dentist with a gentle approach who enjoys looking after patients of all ages.
