And problems found at a routine check-up are almost always smaller, cheaper and less painful to fix than the ones that announce themselves at 2am.
2. What to Check Before Choosing a Dentist Near Edmondson Park
- Who the dentists are. Every dentist in Australia must be registered with AHPRA. Look for names, qualifications and years of experience. A clinic that will not tell you who will be treating you is a red flag.

5. What Happens at Your First Visit?
A first appointment is a full check-up: an examination, any X-rays that are needed, and a scale and clean if there is time. The dentist walks you through anything they find and explains your options and the costs before any further treatment. Nothing is done on the day without your say-so.
